Is it true that Oliver Hardy owned the home on the corner of Magnolia and Hazeltine in Sherman Oaks? I heard his wife donated the home and the property to the Church of the Chimes.

I think I see Chet Brandenberg twice in the "Pack Up Your Troubles" candid photo--just to the left of Sam Lufkin and then at the extreme left. I know Chet had a brother, Ed, who looked somewhat like him but not quite this much...

I am trying to find the film that was shown on early morning TV in the late 1980's. Larel and Haedy were in a car, sat quite high up, I think they drove onto a building site. As they went over a bump both of their hats popped up in the air and dropped back down on their heads. It was simple fun and I want a copy because it was the first time I heard my son (almost still a baby at the time)laugh and giggle uncontrollably. Can anyone help please?

I am trying to trace two sequences from the short L&H films which were favourites of my family in the 60s and 70s. The first has a sequence in a hotel room where Oliver starts running a bath and then forgets about it, and in the second Stan and Ollie are in a hotel kitchen washing up; Ollie starts stacking the dry plates on a hob, without noticing that the hob is alight.
Can anyone identify these films and advise if they are available commercially?

I am a veteran from Indian Army now 46 years old. I am enjoying matchless comedy of them since my college days. Now i have started a small video library having more than 1000 of collection but still i am feeling that my collection is uncompleted because of Laurel $ Hardy's whole video collection. If any one reading this message can help me by giving the full contact address of store from where i can obtain the full collection. For this i am not the only one grateful but also my video club members and my kids who are also a complete fan of them.

Hello out there in L & H Land.
I have a question.
I belong to the County Hospital Tent here in Bradford.
We meet every mointh throughout the year and regularly have anything from 40 to 70+ folk attend each meeting.
I am interested to know how that compares with some of the other tents?
